Long overdue update. So much has happened since last update. Due to the last trial not working and nothing on offer she was discharged from the Marsden. Returned to Kent and Canturbury. Scan results showed progression resulting in chemo. Which had a minimal result Even more breakout and spreading. Things looked bleak. Now suffering lots of pain she wasn prescribed Morphine and pain killers which helped. Then a course of radiation which did little.
Due to another scan with more bad news another 6 sessions of chemo of which only 4 were taken and Mavis said enough is a enough and so stopped treatment. The last scan was in october 23 results were no further regression. Our next appointment is in February 23 . So its WTS.

The past 7 weeks have been a nightmare Mavis has spent every day in bed sick lifeless can no longer walk unaided has a paralized arm. She is in pain 24/7 now. She is on so much morphine most of the time she doesnt know where she is. Ive had to take on my full role as her carer I now do everything I can for her.
At this point in time I dont forsee any improvement. She is no longer well enough to travel to conferences which upsets her. I pray for any improvement. Due to her condition she decided to cancel her place on the Nero trial. A she cant travel B the thought of all that is involved to maybe get a plasebo she said enough is enough.
